Google’s reportedly working on a new app, which is currently under beta testing mode. Known as Google Trips, the app is specifically designed to assist users in planning their vacation trip.
Like Google’s App Inbox, it allows you to create travel bundles that help you put up all your travel reservations and confirmations in one place. Besides this, the new Google Trips app is said to be loaded with many more features.
The other useful features that the Google Trip app has, and is sorely missed in the Inbox App, is the ability to add recommendations on the basis of your interest. Also it allows you to save your travel related information for easy offline access.
Just like Inbox, the Google Trip App automatically allows you to store your travel related information by scanning through your travel related email communications. Besides that, the app allows you to manually browse through your travel information.
Based on the snapshots provided by Androidworld, Google Trip packs in a user-oriented dashboard that allows you to browse through information such previous trips, future trips, reservations, must do lists, must visit places, must have foods & beverages and other must know travel related things. All the above recommendations are on the basis of top tourists places and Google’s tips, based on your travel choices.
So after selecting your preferred vacation destination, the app tips you with must visit places in and around your travel destination.
